The Tony winner takes her final bow at the Shubert Theatre January 14, 2018
The Broadway revival of Hello, Dolly! has added one final performance to Bette Midler’s Tony-winning star turn, with proceeds going to the Actors Fund. The benefit performance will take place January 14, 2018, at 8 PM.
The Tony-winning production previously announced the Sunday date as Midler’s final bow, though tickets have only been on sale for a 2 PM matinee that day. Tickets for the evening benefit performance will be made available at a later date, with Actors Fund members receiving a pre-sale opportunity prior to the general on-sale.
Following a dark week, three-time Tony recipient Bernadette Peters will take center stage as Dolly Gallagher Levi beginning January 20, with Victor Garber joining her as Horace. Olivier nominee Charlie Stemp will also Start performances that date as Barnaby.
The cast of Hello, Dolly!, under the direction of Jerry Zaks, also includes Gaving Creel, who won a Tony for his performance as Cornelius hackl, Kate Baldwin as Irene Molloy, Beanie Feldstein as minnie Fay, Will Burton as Ambrose Kemper, Melanie Moore as Ermengarde, and Tony nominee Jennifer Simard as Ernestina.
